Interactive TV: IT'S GAME SHOW TIME! (For Virtual Sessions)
HIGHLIGHTS:
A Popular Game we play, is called PLAYING FOR CHARITY. As Participants win these timed, beat the clock type challange games. They win Food to Donate to our Local Community Food Pantry, to feed those in need! We are currently donating all winnings to NECM North End Community Ministry Food Pantry serving the Grand Rapids Area. What a SUPER Exciting IDEA, right??!! You might ask, "Lori, how did you think of this?" "Well , Many of my Game Show Contestants, (live in Care Homes that have been shut down due to COVID). "IT'S GAME SHOW TIME" , truly gives everyone who plays and wins, a sense of purpose outside the walls of their own rooms. They win this food for others, and since sessions are Virtual, they do not have to handle anything, but it gives them a way to reach the outside world in a practical way. " |
What would you like to tell the recipients of this food?
" I hope you enjoy your food. Have a nice lunch." - Game Show Contestant/Resident |
Catch the Vision!
Dear Friends, I hope you are catching the vision for what this program is all about! As an Arts in Health Professional for over 12 years now, I continue to love working with all the wonderful people in health care settings. It's always incredible to facilitate people with the Creative Arts. No matter what difficult challenges "residents" may be facing in their personal lives, when they get the opportunity to become Game Show Contestants, on a LIVE, and INTERACTIVE Game Show, It brightens their day, activates their brain/body functions, and many of their therapeutic movement goals are supported. It is so wonderful to facilitate people , I engage their participation and help them find their creative inner spark once again! I'm all about involving and connecting people with their Creative Ideas, so they Celebrate and DANCE with freedom! |
